Photography interest me as an experience allowing an enquiry into the different social standards that surround me, some so close to me and others so far away; those people I see around me, everyday and others on more special or unusual occasions.

Josh Beech

Born in Biggin Hill, London. Passionate about music from a very early age, he started playing keyboard at 10 and guitar at 13. After school, he became an apprentice at Tanglewood- a British company famous for its state-of-the art acoustic guitars. He later enrolled in a Music Technology course at London's Hammersmith College. Josh started to sing at 16, because he "didn't know anyone else who could sing and wanted to start a band'. His first venture was a cover band called Cacophony. It was followed by Snish who released their debut EP in 2009.

He was scouted by Models 1 at a festival in Shoreditch in late 2007. The first booking was for Burberry. Simultaneous bookings by Dazed & Confused, Vogue Hommes International shot by Hedi Slimane and Levi's 501 Jeans - for which Josh has shot a record 3rd consecutive campaign - consolidated his reputation. Other clients include Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Fujiwara, Thierry Mugler, Paul Smith, All Saints and Topman, amongst others. Despite worldwide fame, music remains Josh's main focus. He has had a sold out UK season with his current band Hildamay (www.myspace.com/hildamay) and is now working on his acoustic project which he has always been adamant about doing (to be released at the end of 2010). Josh's musical influences are rooted in rock - he names The Deftones, The Beatles, The Chariot, Paul Simon, Poison The Well, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, Incubus, Ray Charles and Nirvana as sources of inspiration.

White dwarfs are thought to be the final evolutionary state of all stars whose mass is not high enough to become a neutron star—over 97% of the stars in our galaxy. Its faint luminosity comes from the emissionof stored thermal energy. They are very dense; a white dwarf's mass is comparable to that of the Sun and its volume is comparable to that of the Earth.
